  • Peppermint oil in soap provides a cooling sensation via menthol, which soothes irritation, sunburns, and post-workout skin. Jesus says the path is so hard even he can barely walk it — and the only woman in the room is the one who "understood completely."

This soap is dedicated to The Dialogue of the Savior, which is the most fragmentary text in the Nag Hammadi library — badly damaged, with entire sections missing — but what survives is the most intimate conversation Jesus ever has in any ancient text. No sermon. No crowd. Just a small room: the Savior (never called "Jesus" in this text), Mary Magdalene, Judas, and Matthew. And the first thing he says is:

"Already the time has come, brothers, for us to abandon our labor and stand at rest. For whoever stands at rest will rest forever."

Not "follow me." Not "repent." Stop working. Stand still. Rest. The entire spiritual life of the text is built on that one command.

The body is a cage of "blind limbs":

"Through their good works, these have saved their souls from these blind limbs [of the physical body], so that they might exist eternally."

Your body isn't your home. It's a set of blind limbs — eyes that can't see the light, hands that can't reach it, a mouth that can't speak it. The soul is trapped in them. The text calls the body a "garment" you're wearing, and the goal is to take it off.

The mind is the lamp:

"The lamp of the body is the mind. As long as the things inside you are set in order, your bodies are luminous. As long as your hearts are dark, the luminosity you anticipate will remain far away from you."

You don't need a temple. You don't need a priest. You need your own mind, set in order. The light is already inside you. It's just dim because your heart is dark.

The four elements — a warning that reads like a curse:

"If one does not understand how....."
